About Lucy

So you may be wondering "Why Lucy's Keeper?" Lucy is one of my cats and she's a bit needy to say the least. Lucy is 10 years old but she acts like a kitten.  If she wants to go outside, or wants a fire in our wood burning fireplace you're going to hear about it. She's a "meeper" as we like to say because she makes the most pathetic little noise over and over again when she wants something or wants attention. Lucy was recently diagnosed with mild kidney disease and so in addition to my recent addiction to subscription boxes I'm also trying to make sure I do whatever I need to keep her healthy for as long as possible.

Samantha, my other cat is also 10 years old but she's a big/solid girl weighing 13.5 lbs compared to Lucy's 7.5lbs. Samantha used to be anti-social and still doesn't really love other people, but she LOVES her daddy (my husband). Even though Lucy and Samantha have both been my cats since college, Samantha has a great affinity for my husband and sleeps on or near him each night. While Samantha may be my cat, I'm not her keeper, she's an independent woman :)
